Our farm features seven 12’x25’ outdoor kennels which is attached to the largest dog house you will ever see. The farm also features several hundred acres, a large bush and a pond for the dogs to run and play.

Our dogs do not sleep outside as they have their own 40’x120’ kennel which is heated during the winter and air conditioned for the summer. The 5,600 sq. ft. kennel is escape proof, and each 10’x18’ pen is designed for sleeping and rest, and is never used for exercise. For our young pups, we have 15’x15’ pens. The kennels are cleaned and disinfected daily, and are bedded with straw and a blanket.

Our dogs do not have dog houses outside because they are meant to live indoors in their own quarters. While the dogs are with us, they live in our personal home on rotation. During that time, they are crate trained, and are assimilated to house hold noises and family members. Two dogs live with us at a time and are rotated day by day so that each dog will have a chance to live with the others. This gives us the opportunity to evaluate how they interact with each other.

In addition to the kennel and our home, the dogs also enjoy a new “dog house”. The newly built dog house is 24’x36’ and is air conditioned, heated and also features a heated floor. The dog house is furnished with a bar for the guests and leather couches for the dogs. This dog house will be the training grounds for all our future pups.

We are dedicated to the health and well-being of all of our Boerboels, and ensure that they are trained, exercised and fed properly. We take time each day to train the dogs alone, in packs as well as around the other farm animals. We ensure that the dogs get plenty of exercise by running them twice each day in a variety of weather conditions. Every other day, our Boerboels are fed a local made kibble with raw eggs and meat. For a special treat, the dogs are given a frozen beef bone at bed time.

While we live on a farm, we make a point of exposing the dogs to city life as well. We frequently take them on car and truck rides, and we make sure that they are included in all our day-to-day activities. It is our sincere belief to expose the dogs to a variety of environments so that they will make an easy transition from our home to yours.

We invite you to come and visit our dogs and would be happy to show you our operation. One of the highlights of our day is when we go four-wheeling so the dogs can run and get some exercise. We would be pleased for you to come along so you can see how the dogs interact when running as a pack.
