Mv Hemi came from our first litter of 16 pups that were hand reared with the help of his mother Cherika. From the very beginning, he caught our eye!
Hemi came from a half brindle litter and has a beautiful red fawn coat and amber eyes. His body structure is heavy boned and is built with lots of muscle.
Hemi moves absolutely gracefully for his size and has the endurance for three to five kilometre runs. Even as a six month old pup, he would run twice a day for an hour on the farm.
Due to his heavy bone mass, he is not a good swimmer, and sinks quite fast. He has a little more developing left, as he has another year before he is full grown.
Hemi does have a little too much lip, but his head and muzzle is also large enough to support his loose skin.
Hemi is a great guard dog. He needs my introduction to new visitors, but then everything is fine after that. Outside of the farm he is care-free and loves all dogs and is absolutely wonderful around children.
Hemi is not a dominate male, and runs every day with two other males.
If one is to ask me his best assets, I would say that Hemi has an excellent temperament, sound character along with fantastic hips and elbows scores that beat 80% of all the Boerboels tested.
It requires at least five years evaluating a "great sire" to be able to look into his positive
and negative breed future. Hemi clearly out does his father Afrika Rocky.
Hemi has great nerve soundness and I believe it will strengthen his offspring.
Genotypically he is uniform to the breed standard and reflects great bloodlines to cultivate
the common ground between the working and conformation fanciers.
Breeders please do not reply. Thanks, Marty
